The KWS campus is spread over 14 acres, located within a fast-growing locality on Gaurav Path within the SMC precincts. There are separate academic and administrative blocks along with an independent sports complex and playgrounds.
Our campus is designed to facilitate effective curriculum delivery. There is Wi-Fi connectivity with 24×7 broadband Internet, for administrative as well as teaching-learning functions. KWS does not allow single use plastic items on campus for environmental safety.
- Pre-Primary Level
This level consists of our youngest learners in Nursery, Lower Kindergarten (LKG) and Upper Kindergarten (UKG). After the home, where learning happens with loving parents and family, the next crucial learning bond is formed at school with teachers and classmates. Admission to the Pre-Primary years is free of tests and formal interviews. Teachers observe your child’s language ability and motor skills during an informal interaction with peers to assess their socialization needs and overall standard.
KWS believes in creating a Learning Partnership between School, Home and Student. In addition to learning to read, write and count, children learn social skills in group interaction, making new friends alongside stress-free learning. School introduces your child to social, moral, academic, aesthetic and health values, acting as a microcosm to the outside world.
- Primary Level
This level includes Classes 1-5. Children are encouraged to extend their curiosity to all experiential aspects of our world and to acquire skills in languages, Mathematics, Environmental Science and numerous other co-curricular activities. They are encouraged to ask questions, discover and experiment with the range of possible answers, and assume responsibility for their learning. Setting work completion targets, learning time management, solving difficult problems through peer learning and referring to extra-textual information sources enable them to proactively engage in autonomous learning. The teacher is present to guide and facilitate at every step.
- Remedial Help
All students experience academic challenges at some point of time. The Mother Teacher (LKG – Class 2) or the Subject Teacher (Classes 3-12) is the best remedial guide to facilitate problem-solving.
- Counselling
The School Counsellor is the best mentor for psychological support and motivation for any kind of mental distress. The Class Teacher is the first recourse in cases of bullying or any other problem. Career Counselling is also provided for students in Classes 6-12.
- Co-curricular Activity & Sports
The infrastructural facilities support the following sports and activities to enable students of all ages to maintain health, growth and fitness and to stimulate learning co-curricular skills.
